Reiza Studios has been steadily expanding their roster of cars and tracks for Game Stock Car Extreme, with their own versions of Kyalami, Montreal, and Red Bull Ring being released for their racing simulation. They are about to add Suzuka to the list, with “Kansai”. Reiza has released a preview video, showing off a 5-lap race at the F1 circuit, with the Formula Extreme open-wheel car.
Suzuka is one of the most popular Formula One circuits on the calendar, and at one time hosted the final race of the season. Featuring high speed sections combined with two very tight corners on the track, passing can a frequent sight. One of the most iconic races at the venue was in 1989, where Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost tangled after the 130R corner. Senna would go on to win the race, but was afterwards disqualified, giving the championship to Prost.
Reiza’s interpretation of the circuit looks to be pretty spot-on, especially considering this isn’t laser-scanned. Kansai will be released in the next update for Game Stock Car Extreme, and it will be one to look forward to. Are you looking forward to Kansai (Suzuka) being released for Game Stock Car Extreme?
