Gran Turismo 6 1.18 Released

0

Polyphony Digital has released version 1.18 for Gran Turismo 6, bringing a(nother) new Volkswagen Vision GT car to the PS3 sim.

In 2014, the Volkswagen GTI Roadster Vision Gran Turismo was released, and now we have a hardtop “Supersport” version of the car. The VW GTI Supersport Vision Gran Turismo is powered by a VR6 TSI engine, which produces 503 horsepower and 490.3 ft-lbs of torque. A 7-speed paddle-shift transmission mated to the 4MOTION 4WD system will put the power to the road.

Carbon fiber parts will keep the weight down, and the handling nimble. The body bears striking resemblance to the Volkswagen Golf, and brings it into the future.

In addition to the VW Vision GT release, we’re seeing the foundations laid down for GT Academy 2015. “GT Academy 2015” has been added to the “Special Events” section, and more information will be coming soon. Australia will be a new country added to the GT Academy list of countries, so that will be exciting for our friends down under.
