FIA Formula E

After months of build-up, the FIA Formula E Visa Vegas E-Race will be run today from Las Vegas! E-League will be live streaming the race at 4:00PM PST (12:00 GMT). Coverage of the event will begin at 3:00PM PST (11:00 GMT).

This race will see some world renowned sim racers, such as my friend Gregger Huttu and Bono Huis. They will be running in the event alongside race car drivers such as Nick Heidfeld, Lucas di Grassi, and Nelson Piquet Jr, for the largest prize in e-sports history: $1 million!

This will mark the inaugural race, and highlights a partnership with Formula E, Studio 397, and Mak Corp. The competition will use the rFactor 2 software, featuring a car and track developed by Mak Corp.

Here is a preview of the course and the car, with the AI running a lap around the course. This looks like an exciting layout, and should make for an awesome race.

Be sure to check out this race this afternoon; it should be an exciting watch! Are you looking forward to watching this race? Let us know in the comments.
