Project CARS is almost here! After quite a few delays, Slightly Mad Studios’ latest title is less than 2 weeks away from release. This is one of the most anticipated racing titles of 2015, and features one of the most diverse racing experiences available in a commercial title. The game will be the first major racing title to span multiple current-generation consoles (being released for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One), but this preview is for the PC version.
The question many people are asking is “How does this title stack up?” How does it compare to other racing sims? Is it a full fledged sim, or does it fall into the “Simcade” category? Check out our video to find out.
Project CARS will be released May 7th worldwide on Steam, with physical copies dropping May 7th in France, May 8th in the UK, and May 12th for the USA. The game will feature some very impressive specs, such as 12K resolution (via triple 4K screens) on the PC, and up to 45 opponents in single player.
