Well, it’s happened. Project CARS has been delayed for 2 more weeks, now featuring a release date of April 2nd (my birthday!). This marks the second delay in six months, to put finishing touches on the racing title.
Project CARS was originally slated for release March 17th, but many in the community were concerned about if it would be released as a complete title. I think this is a solid decision by Slightly Mad Studios and Bandai Namco, to make sure it’s as polished a title as possible.
Here is a quote from Bandai Namco:
“Moving a release date was not an easy decision to make, as we know our fans are eager to get their hands-on on Project CARS”, said Ian Bell, Head of Studio at Slightly Mad Studios. “But we know that these extra days will allow us to provide the best game experience that our fans deserve. We assure you the wait will be worth it when the game does arrive early April”.
I am planning on doing a video preview of Project CARS, to see how it is a month before its release. I’ve had somewhat of a love-hate relationship with the title, and I’d like to answer some of your questions you have about Project CARS. To stay in the know about when that video will be coming, check out our YouTube channel.
What questions do you want me to address for Project CARS? What are your thoughts on PCARS being delayed? Let us know!
Note: The April 2nd release date applies to Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Wii U release still does not have a concrete release date.
