Monster Games and 704Games have released their latest NASCAR title, NASCAR Heat 2! The follow up to the (admittedly lackluster) NASCAR Heat Evolution, NASCAR Heat 2 sees multiple improvements and additions, including the inclusion of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and Xfinity Series championships.
NASCAR Heat 2 harkens back to a previous Monster Games title, NASCAR Heat: Dirt to Daytona. In that title, you were able to progress up the racing ladder, up from Dirt racing up to the NASCAR Cup Series. Now NASCAR Heat 2 doesn’t feature lower class dirt racing, but at the very least, you can climb up the Truck and
Busch Xfinity Series, to earn a spot in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.
This title features the full NASCAR track roster, including Xfinity and Truck series tracks, such as Mid Ohio, Eldora, Mosport, and more. It also includes the real world drivers in the three series, so you can race against the other drivers.
NASCAR Heat 2 is now available on PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4 for $49.99. Early reviews are saying it’s an improvement over its predecessor, but still held back by some elements, garnering an average score of around 70%.
