Last month, most regions in the world saw the release of MotoGP 17, the latest in the racing series from Milestone. Now, the title has made its way stateside, and is available for the main 3 platforms!
This year’s iteration of the series features all of the riders and bikes from the 2017 MotoGP season, featuring the variety of classes showcased. A first for the series is the inclusion of the Red Bull Rookies Cup, which pits newer racers on 250cc 4-stroke powered KTM motorcycles to duke it out. In addition, MotoGP 17 will feature a roster of historic riders, adding over 70 riders spanning the premier motorcycle championship’s history.
Another great improvement to the title is the choice to prioritize 60FPS on all three platforms (including 1440p @ 60FPS on the PS4 Pro). I believe the previous MotoGP games were limited at 30FPS, so people jumping to the new title should feel smoother graphics and controls.
In addition, MotoGP 17 will be host to a new E-Sports event, where racers will compete for the chance to win a BMW M235i! While details are relatively limited right now, the main information can be found on the official E-Sport page on the website.
Have you taken MotoGP 17 for a spin yet? What are your thoughts?
