While Milestone has released one motorcycle racing game already, we have their more known series coming out with another iteration. MotoGP 15 will mark the second in the series to be released on current-generation consoles, and we have our first gameplay trailer of the racer.
The video showcases three circuits used in the MotoGP calendar: Mugello, Valencia, and Jerez. I would say that, judging from this trailer, the graphics have been taken up a little notch, especially with the atmosphere. You can tell Milestone is putting the extra effort into focusing on the PS4 and Xbox One versions, now that they have a year of current-gen development under their belt.
I haven’t tried the full version of Ride yet, but from my experience in the demo, it was fun, but tough on hardware. Hopefully MotoGP 15 will be better optimized for PC, when it releases this June.
MotoGP 15 will be available this June for the PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. Are you looking to get the title when it releases? Let us know in the comments!
NOTE: THE TRAILER SHOWS 2014 MOTOGP CONTENT, BUT THE GAME WILL SHIP WITH 2015 RIDERS AND BIKES!!!
In related news, I just received an email from Milestone, stating that they have finalized a patch for Ride, and it has been sent to Microsoft/Sony for approval. This should fix some of the major issues in the title, and hopefully create a better experience.
