Last year, we saw the release of Ride, a motorcycle racing game by Milestone Studios. Now, Milestone has released Ride 2, the sequel to the “spiritual successor to Tourist Trophy”.
The big question most people would ask is “What’s New?” Well, the big thing is, more bikes and tracks. The Original Ride featured “Over 100” motorcycles, and the sequel boosts that mark north of 200. New classes have been added, such as Cafe Racers, Two-Strokes, and SuperMotos. Over 1,200 different parts are available to tune the bikes, and 600+ liveries are available.
Ride had a host of 15 circuits, and Ride 2 doubles that mark, boasting “Over 30”. One major addition is the Nurburgring Nordschleife, which should be a blast on the bikes! GP Circuits, Country Tracks, and Street Circuits are featured. Sadly, there are no off-road racing courses, which would have been rather cool.
New game modes are included in the game as well. For example “Perfect Trajectory” requires that you stay in the cones while driving a lap around the track. Some of the new modes in the game will keep things fresh.
Ride 2 is available now on Steam for $49.99, and on the Xbox One and Playstation 4 for $59.99. I will try to get my hands on a review copy so I can let you know my thoughts on the game.
Do you think you’ll give Ride 2 a try? Let us know!
