Las Vegas Motor Speedway is one of the top 1.5 mile oval racing circuits in North America, but it also houses a very popular 3/8th mile short track, dubbed the Bullring. iRacing has confirmed that this short oval course will be coming to the sim next month!
The Bullring was built in 1980, as part of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway complex. The track is a 3/8th mile banked track, which sees a lot of action! The track was refurbished in 2000, and featured grandstands that seat up to 5,400 people.
The circuit is host to a lot of different racing series, including Super Late Models, Modifieds, and Legends Cars. Looking deeper, there is this interesting series that I’d actually never heard of, “Skid Plate Cars”. Apparently, they take a FWD car, put skid plates instead of rear wheels, and have those cars race. iRacing, we need that NOW!!!
This will be an exciting track to add to iRacing’s roster when the next season drops next month! What are your thoughts on the upcoming circuit? Let us know in the comments!
