It’s admittedly been a little while since the last DLC package was released for Assetto Corsa, the Porsche Pack III DLC, released on December 20th, 2016. Now, the first DLC for 2017 is set to be released, the Ready to Race Pack, which will feature 10 cars from McLaren, Audi, Toyota, and Maserati:
– Audi R8 LMS 2016
– Audi R18 e-tron quattro
– Audi TT Cup 2016
– Audi TT RS (VLN)
– Lotus 3-Eleven
– Maserati MC12 GT1
– McLaren 570S
– McLaren P1 GTR
– Toyota Celica ST185 Turbo
– Toyota TS040 Hybrid
Something notable is that there are now going to be two more modern Le Mans Prototype race cars coming to the sim! The Audi R18 e-tron quattro will be released alongside the Toyota TS040 Hybrid. It is worth mentioning these are from the same year, as the R18 and TS040 raced in the 2014 World Endurance Championship.
Another notable addition to this list is the Maserati MC12 GT1. This race car makes its first first-party appearance in a PC racing game since SimBin’s GTR series. The car features an Enzo Ferrari-inspired V12 engine, as well as a chassis design that was built off of Ferrari’s legendary hyper car.
The Ready To Race DLC will be available on May 18th, alongside the v1.14 update for the sim. Kunos Simulazioni has also provided a change-log of what to expect in the new update.
