The official list for the Assetto Corsa Ferrari 70th Anniversary Pack has been released! We now have the 7 cars that will be making their way into the Assetto Corsa DLC honoring the 70th anniversary of the Italian manufacturer.

First off, I want to address a mistake I made in an earlier blog post. A few weeks ago, I reported on this DLC, listing that there would be 12 cars in the DLC (six picked by Kunos Simulazioni, six selected by the community), but that ended up not being the case. Six cars were selected by Kunos, and ONE would be selected by the community, bringing the total to seven. I apologize for the confusion.

The lucky car selected by the Sim Racing community, taking home 15.39% of the vote, is the Ferrari SF70H, the car currently running in the 2017 Formula One World Championship! The car, piloted by Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen, is one of the first cars to post a legitimate threat to Mercedes’ dominance, and is currently in the lead for the Driver’s Championship, thanks to Vettel’s performance.

The SF70H is powered by a turbocharged V6 engine mated to a hybrid system, which is rumored to be making north of 1,000 horsepower combined. Add in the new wider tires and aerodynamics, and we have one of the fastest Formula One cars ever!

However, the Ferrari SF70H is not the only car in the pack, and the Ferrari 70th Anniversary Celebration Pack will have six other impressive cars!

  • 1962 250 GTO
  • 1967 330 P4
  • 1967 312/67
  • 1984 288 GTO
  • 2004 F2004
  • 2017 812 Superfast

As mentioned in my previous post, the list seems to also be tailor-made to compete with some of the cars already in Assetto Corsa. For example, the 1967 Ferrari 312/67 will be a great rival to the Lotus 49!

The Ferrari 70th Anniversary Celebration Pack will be released this fall for PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One. Which Ferrari are you most looking forward to in the DLC? Let us know!

When will Kunos get the message. This title has plenty of friggin cars. What we want is tracks, tracks and more tracks. I for one won’t be forking out for any more DLC unless it contains TRACKS.
